Physician-patient communication is necessary for quality health care, which is why the Annual Fee Program strives for excellence in patient engagement. Through either letters, emails and/or newsletters, your patients will be educated on uninsured services and informed on how the  Annual Fee Program works.

We Provide Patients with the following information to ensure they have a clear understanding of the office policies regarding uninsured services: 

• Detailed explanations of uninsured service cost factors and the associated impact on the physician
• Information explaining uninsured services, what they are, and the associated charges
• A leaflet included in all new mailings, which outlines the uninsured services office policy
• Professionally designed and printed fee guides
• We also provide your practice with professionally designed and printed posters/signs that can be displayed in waiting or examination rooms
• We strictly abide by the guidelines outlined by the Ontario College of Physicians in regards to uninsured services
